I’m trying to keep an eye on my teen’s online activity and noticed they’ve been using some AI chatbots lately. Is there a way to see their conversation history without them knowing?
Yeah this comes up a lot with AI chatbots specifically now - here’s the real talk:
Most AI chatbot history (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) is account-based, so if your kid is logged into their account on a shared/family device, you can just log into their account directly and see the chat history right there - no spy tools needed.
Honestly the easiest move is just setting up Family Link (Google) or Screen Time (Apple) which can block or limit access to those sites entirely, which is probably more useful than reading every conversation.
