My kid has an iPhone but I only have an Android, and I’d like to see where he is after school. Is there any simple way to check his location from my phone without jailbreaking or crazy hacks?
Yeah this is actually super easy — just set up Find My on his iPhone and add yourself as a contact he shares location with, then you can check it from findmy.apple.com on any browser, Android included. Alternatively, Google Maps location sharing works cross-platform too — he shares from his iPhone, you see it on your Android Google Maps app. Both are free, no sketchy apps needed.
