Is the wifi tracker app reliable for monitoring my kid’s devices?

my kids are always on their tablets and i want to make sure they’re not accessing anything sketchy. has anyone actually used it and does it show real-time activity?

Hey Chad, welcome to the forum! WiFi tracker apps are hit or miss honestly — most of them just show you which devices are connected and maybe some basic traffic, but they won’t tell you what your kid is actually browsing in any useful detail.

Honestly for tablets, your router’s parental controls (most modern routers have them built in) plus Google Family Link or Apple Screen Time will give you way more actionable info without needing a third-party app. Those let you set content filters, see app usage, and even lock the device remotely — which is the stuff that actually matters day to day.
