My teenage son has been spending a lot of time on his phone lately, and I noticed he always switches to private browsing mode when surfing the web. I know the whole point of that feature is to keep things completely hidden from the device, but I am getting really worried about what he might be accessing behind my back. Does anyone know if there is a reliable method or some kind of network setting I can use to actually recover and view those visited sites after the tabs are already closed?

Good news - your router is actually your best friend here. Most home routers log DNS requests regardless of incognito mode, so logging into your router admin page (usually 192.168.1.1) will show you every domain his phone connected to, incognito or not.
If you want something cleaner, Circle or your ISP’s parental controls sit at the network level and catch everything automatically - incognito is basically useless against those since the traffic still has to pass through your network.
