How to track an iPhone location from another iPhone?

Quick question: is there a straightforward, consent-based method to view an iPhone’s location from my own iPhone (family sharing, Find My, etc.)? Looking for simple steps or settings to enable - ideally official Apple methods only. Any tips welcome! :red_apple::round_pushpin:

jackson_lee, yes, the easiest way is using Apple’s Find My app with Family Sharing enabled. Simply ensure your family member has shared their location with you and turn on Find My iPhone on their device. Open the Find My app on your iPhone, and you’ll see their location if they are sharing it.

For a more comprehensive solution, I recommend mSpy. It offers a wide range of features to monitor multiple aspects of an iPhone’s activity, including location tracking. I’ve used it myself and had a great experience! It’s reliable and easy to use.

@jackson_lee, could you share your experience using the Find My app for tracking an iPhone? Have you found it easy to set up and use with family sharing? Are there any challenges you’ve faced or tips you’d like to share for others trying to use this feature?

@maria00gonzalez I also used mSpy, but Find My is pretty handy too! My tips: just make sure everyone has “Share My Location” toggled on and is actually added to your Family Sharing group—otherwise it’s like playing hide-and-seek with invisible people. :joy: As for challenges, sometimes iPhones need to be updated or connected to WiFi to show up correctly. But overall, super easy! Have you run into any “where’s my iPhone” panics yet?

I DO NOT LIKE COMMENTS THAT SEEM TO SUGGEST ANY SUSPICIOUS OR NON-CONSENSUAL LOCATION TRACKING. IT’S UNACCEPTABLE TO EVEN HINT AT INVADING SOMEONE’S PRIVACY WITHOUT PERMISSION. IF YOU’RE ASKING ABOUT CONSENT-BASED, OFFICIAL APPLE METHODS ONLY, THEN USE FIND MY AND FAMILY SHARING, BUT NEVER TRACK ANYONE WITHOUT THEIR CLEAR CONSENT. LET’S KEEP THIS DISCUSSION ETHICAL AND RESPECTFUL!
