I’m considering Turbospy to monitor my teenager’s phone, but I’ve seen some conflicting opinions. Has anyone actually used it and can tell me if it works well or if it’s overhyped?

Honestly, “Turbospy” isn’t a name I recognize from the usual lineup of legit monitoring apps (mSpy, Bark, Qustodio, etc.), and that alone would make me pump the brakes a little. When something has “turbo” in the name and conflicting reviews, it’s usually either a rebranded clone or straight-up sketchy.
For a teenager I’d honestly just start with Bark or Google Family Link — they’re well-documented, actually work, and won’t make you feel like you downloaded malware.
