My daughter uses Kik and I’ve seen a bunch of apps claiming they can track location through it, but half of them look scammy. Does anyone know if any actually work without rooting her phone or am I wasting my time?
Yeah those “Kik location tracker” apps are basically 99% scamware - Kik doesn’t expose location data through any API so there’s nothing legit to tap into there. If you want to know where your daughter actually is, just use Find My (iPhone) or Google Family Link (Android) - those pull real GPS and work without any sketchy installs. Way more reliable than chasing Kik-specific tools that are mostly just trying to grab your credit card number.
