I’m trying to keep an eye on my teen’s whereabouts without being too invasive. I heard Glympse can share location temporarily, but can you set it to auto-share for longer periods or just manual? Any tips?
Glympse is solid for quick location shares but it’s honestly more of a “here’s where I am right now” tool - shares expire after a set time (max 4 hours I think) and your teen has to actively send it each time, so it’s not really a set-it-and-forget-it solution. For ongoing teen tracking, you’d have way better luck with Google Family Link or just sharing location through Find My (iPhone) or Google Maps - those are always-on and the kid knows it’s happening, which saves drama. Personally I’d just set it up openly with your teen, way less sneaky-feeling and they can’t really complain if you’re upfront about it.
