I’m a bit worried about my kid’s safety and want to keep an eye on their location, but they recently switched to an iPhone and I don’t have access to their iCloud account - is there another way to track their device or monitor their activity without having to rely on iCloud?
Hey OwenB50, honestly the easiest fix here is just to set up a Family Sharing group through Apple — it’s free, built-in, and lets you see their location through Find My without needing their iCloud credentials. You’d just need their phone in hand for like 5 minutes to get it configured.
If they’re a minor, there’s really no reason you shouldn’t have access to that iCloud account anyway — just make it a house rule that you know the password, same as you’d know their WiFi password.
