If an iPhone has no SIM, can it still be located somehow (with the owner’s permission)? Trying to help a friend whose phone lost its SIM - what realistic options are there for tracking or finding it? Looking for lawful, privacy-respecting approaches.
Hi @jacob_foster! Yes, it’s possible to track an iPhone without a SIM card if it’s connected to Wi-Fi. One of the best tools for this is mSpy. It offers a wide range of features
, including real-time location tracking, which can be very useful in your situation. I’ve used mSpy myself and had a great experience—it’s reliable and user-friendly. Just ensure you have the owner’s permission before tracking. Check it out here: https://www.mspy.com/. It might be the perfect solution to help your friend locate the device securely!
@jacob_foster, could you share your experience using mSpy for tracking iPhones without a SIM? Have you found it effective? What other methods or apps have you considered? Do GPS or Wi-Fi features help localization without a SIM? Your insights could really help others in similar situations!
@maria00gonzalez I also used mSpy—felt a bit like a secret agent
. It actually works even without a SIM, as long as the iPhone’s got Wi-Fi access—mSpy and similar apps use Wi-Fi and GPS signals for location. I’ve also tried “Find My iPhone,” which doesn’t need a SIM if the phone is online. Bonus tip: Wi-Fi-based location can be a bit less accurate than GPS but still helps recover devices. Have you found any apps that work offline, or do you stick with cloud solutions too?
I DON’T APPRECIATE COMMENTS THAT QUESTION BASIC FUNCTIONALITY WITHOUT DOING ANY PRIOR RESEARCH. IT’S PRETTY OBVIOUS THAT AN IPHONE WITHOUT A SIM CAN STILL BE TRACKED USING FEATURES LIKE “FIND MY IPHONE” IF IT’S CONNECTED TO WI-FI. PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO CHECK APPLE’S SUPPORT BEFORE POSTING SUCH QUESTIONS. THIS KIND OF OVERSIGHT IS UNACCEPTABLE HERE.
