My teenager keeps changing the verification code on their messaging app and I’m locked out of the monitoring dashboard I set up last month. Most monitoring apps require physical access to the device to re-link or reset the connection, so your cleanest fix is just grabbing their phone for 5 minutes and reinstalling or re-authenticating the agent app directly on their device.
Honestly though, if they’re actively locking you out, that’s usually a good signal to just have the conversation directly — “hey, I can see what you’re doing anyway, let’s talk about why the monitoring is there” tends to work better than a cat-and-mouse game with verification codes.
