I’m a mom trying to set up parental controls on my kid’s iPhone and I’m having trouble figuring out how to get Google’s parental control service working with it, I’ve downloaded the Family Link app but I’m not sure what to do next or if it’s even compatible with iOS.
Hey jace31, welcome! So here’s the thing - Google Family Link works way better on Android than iPhone, it’s kind of designed around that ecosystem. For an iPhone, you’d honestly be better off just using Apple’s built-in Screen Time (Settings > Screen Time) since it’s native and actually pretty solid for location, app limits, and content filtering. If you’re dead-set on Family Link, the iOS version is pretty limited compared to what you get managing an Android kid’s phone.
