As discussed last week, the Xiaomi released their new version of operating system MIUI 9 and two new phone Y1 lite and Y1 starting a whole new series.

Here what you would be seeing after the update :

Xiaomi always raced against the stock Android to prove its self better and fast. Until now, the Android won it. However, after like four years of challenge, the Xiaomi producers now come out and say proudly that they have achieved the goal of making a faster and optimum version of Operating System than Android.

Here are few amazing features you would be seeing in the MIUI 9 :

  • Image Search in Gallery

You would now be able to search the images you want, just by typing the name or keywords related to the particular image.

  • A very own Smart Assistant

Yes, the MIUI 9 has its own Smart Assistant to help you make your life smart and sorted by doing a variety of task with the help of your voice. This assistant can be found on when you swipe right from your home screen where you would find your important notes, news etc.

  • Smart App Launcher 

The smart app launcher lets you search about anything just by long pressing on them. This doesn’t seem much exciting until you try it out on an application. Voila, You launch an app just by long pressing on the keyword you write in.

  • Split Screen Mode

Xiaomi released Split screen for most of their phones which are running on Android Nougat, helping switching and multitasking between two applications. You can access this feature by split mode feature on the menu option.

  •  System Optimization

As Xiaomi announced the MIUI 9 with a tag Lightning. The phone introduced lots of features to make it faster. Features like intelligent Cpu acceleration and optimised thread scheduling makes it faster than ever.

With all this feature, MIUI 9 has given a better competition to the Android.
