The “Mi Mix” series of Smartphones from Xiaomi were among the first devices in the market to feature a nearly bezel-less display. Both the first gen Mi Mix device and the Mi Mix 2 were great devices and received a great response overall.
Even though it has not even been 6 months from the launch of the latest Mi Mix 2 Smartphone, it seems like Xiaomi has already begun the development of the next generation Mi Mix 3 Smartphone.
What we have today, is the first alleged leaked image on what the rear panel of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will look like. In the first glance itself, it is pretty much clear that the rear panel of the device closely resembles the Apple iPhone X with its vertical cutout for the dual-camera setup.
Even though the device is well praised for its nearly bezel-less display and industrial design, the camera performance was never a high point for both the Mi Mix and the Mi Mix 2. So, it will be interesting to see what Xiaomi pulls off with the upcoming Mi Mix 3 as it will be the first device in the series to feature a dual-camera setup in the rear.
The leaked image does look like a spy shot and as it is an early image leak, it could also be possible that the rear panel image leaked above could be one of the prototype design for the Mi Mix 3.Talking about the hardware specifications of Mi Mix 3, it should feature all the latest Smartphone specs for 2018, as it comes as a part of the most expensive Smartphone series from Xiaomi.
The Mi Mix 3 is expected to feature an OLED display instead of an LCD one found on both of its predecessors. The device is also rumored to powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset, which was just announced a few days ago. The expected RAM and internal storage configuration is 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB with an exclusive 256GB storage variant for selected markets.
