Nokia is on a roll this MWC, with so many phones launched at the event even we have lost count of all the phones launched in totality. Well, Nokia 8 Sirocco is one that stands out among all of the other phones. It is a flagship level phone with beautifully crafted hardware to match. Let’s take a look at what the Nokia 8 Sirocco has to offer.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Design

The Nokia 8 Sirocco has a 95% glass design with only a tiny metal chassis bellow it. The phone looks absolutely gorgeous and I love personally love the design. It is designed like phones designed by a certain other company (*Cough*Samsung*Cough*). The fingerprint sensor is to the rear of the device while front touts a display with minimal bezels. The phone curves towards certain points on the body which gives it a wedge like look.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Display

Nokia 8 Sirocco touts a 5.5 Inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display which comes with pOLED technology. It is protected by corning gorilla glass 5 and has 3D curved glass at the front and the rear. The display is beautiful, reminds us of the glory days of Nokia when it was at the peak of innovation.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Specifications

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 835 which is the last generation flagship chip which is sad to see but the chip is nonetheless powerful enough to compete with other flagships. The chip is coupled with 6 GB of DDR4X Ram and 128 GB of Internal storage which can be expanded via the help of a micro SD card.

Nokia 8 Sirocco Cameras

Nokia 8 Sirocco has 2 cameras at the back which are exactly identical to the ones on the Nokia 7 Plus. A 12 megapixel sensor with f/1.75 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels and a 13 megapixel sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and 1-micron pixel working together in harmony. One of them is a regular primary wide angle lens whereas the other one is a Telephoto 2X zoom  lens, both of them, like the Nokia 7 Plus tout Carl Zeiss optics for enhanced smartphone photography. The superpixel technology which sounds something straight out of power rangers is also present, it, in essence, merges 4 pixels into one to make a high resolution high quality image.

For the selfie lovers, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is going to be a huge disappointment as it sports a measly 5 megapixel front facing shooter with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels.

Bothie, a signature for Nokia’s recent devices is present too so that a user can share both the videos and images from the rear as well as the front camera at the same time.
