The Nokia 3310 4G variant is now official in the Chinese market. The device, unlike the Nokia 3310 refresh released last year, features WiFi and 4G VoLTE support which can be used in creating WiFi hotspots to share mobile data.
The Nokia 3310 4G runs on “YunOS 5.2.0”, which is based on AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The design is also unchanged when compared to the last year’s Nokia 3310.
Talking about specs, the display is a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 240×320 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 256MB RAM. There is 512MB of inbuilt storage with MicroSD card slot that can be used to expand the storage up to an additional 64GB. The device also features 2MP primary camera along with a LED flash.
Other features of the Nokia 3310 include a headphone jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0 and 1200mAh battery. The Nokia 3310 4G variant is available in two colors: Fresh Blue and Deep Black.
There is no official word on pricing or release outside China yet, however, the device will go on sale in China starting February. We do hope a global rollout to be announced during MWC 2018.
