It is already officially confirmed that the “Zenfone 5” lineup from Asus will be announced during the MWC 2018 event slated to happen a week from now.

We have had a few leaks on various Asus Zenfone 5 series devices in the recent past. Today, we have reports of a leaked AnTuTu benchmark that details on hardware specs on the upcoming Asus Z01RD.

Well, apart from the model name, we do not know which device it is in the Zenfone 5 lineup. But before we speculate that, let’s go through the leaked specs.


The AnTuTu benchmark listing of Asus Z01RD details that powering the device will be the latest chipset from the house of Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 845 along with the Adreno 630 GPU for graphics and 6GB RAM. The device will run on Android 8.0.0 Oreo software and the inbuilt storage space will be of 32GB.

Even though there are no details on camera, earlier leaks suggested that the Asus Zenfone 5 will have dual camera setup in the rear.

What’s particularly interesting here is the display resolution, which is 2246 x 1080 pixels. This indicates an 18:9 display unit.


Earlier there was a leaked live image that showed the alleged Asus Zenfone 5 with an 18:9 display and a top-notch. Which indicates that the leaked AnTuTu specs could possibly be of the Zenfone 5.
