The Sony Xperia L2 has been officially launched in India featuring a price tag of Rs. 19,990. In comparison, the Xperia L2 is priced at $250 (approx Rs. 16,000) in the US.

The Xperia L2 is the successor to the Xperia L which was released way back in 2013. The new edition of the Smartphone is specifically tailored to impress the selfie-lovers.

The Xperia L2 was first announced back at CES 2018 along with other two Smartphones, Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra.

Talking about the hardware specs first, powering the device is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6737T SoC featuring Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB RAM. The operating system is Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The Xperia L2 variant launched in India is the dual-SIM one and supports Nano-SIM in both slots. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage with MicroSD card slot that supports storage expansion up to 256GB.

The 5.5-inch display unit featured on the device has a resolution of 720×1280 pixels, has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and also come with Image Enhance Technology.

Weighing 178 grams, there is also a 3300mAh battery supported by technology such as Qnovo Adaptive Charging, STAMINA mode and Battery Care for better battery backup.

The rear-camera sensor is of 13MP of f/2.0 aperture and features x3 Clear Image Zoom. The main highlight of the device is the 8MP f/2.4 aperture secondary camera that features a 120-degree super wide-angle lens supporting both Portrait selfies and Group selfies.

When it comes to other features, the device supports 4G LTE and also features a USB Type-C port for charging. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Sony Xperia L2 is available in three colors: Black, Pink, and Gold.

Talking about availability, the Xperia L2 is currently listed on both Amazon India and Flipkart.

As for the Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra, there is no official confirmation on launch date or pricing yet.
